Our Vision
We envision a world stabilized at 1.5°C, where nature and human progress are in harmony. A world with inclusive climate actions that secures a just and resilient future for all.
Our Mission
Our mission is to drive global climate solutions that reduce carbon emissions, build resilience, and empower communities, especially the most vulnerable, through innovation, nature-based action, and equitable energy transitions.

What is
CLIMATE CHANGE?
Climate change is a proven, human-driven phenomenon caused mainly by burning fossil fuels, which release heat-trapping greenhouse gases. Scientific evidence, from rising global temperatures and sea levels to shrinking glaciers and intensifying weather extremes, confirms that the Earth has warmed by about 1.1°C since the late 1800s. The data is clear: climate change is real, accelerating, and demands urgent action.

Placing our Work
Our work centres on climate action, environmental stewardship, and inclusive development to co-create climate solutions that protect ecosystems, reduce emissions, and build long-term resilience. From carbon-smart land use and renewable energy access to sustainable urban systems and policy transformation, our work advances justice-driven, scalable interventions that put people and the planet at the center of the climate response

Partnership through
Inclusivity
A central pillar of our climate strategy is forging high-impact partnerships that empower communities on the frontlines of climate vulnerability. We work to unlock access to climate finance through carbon markets, innovation-driven investments, and inclusive funding mechanisms that support locally led adaptation and mitigation. Equally critical is our commitment to strengthening governance which includes advancing equitable, science-based climate policies, securing land and resource rights, and ensuring communities have the tools, data, and voice needed to shape resilient, low-carbon futures.

CapacityBuilding for Climate
We are committed to advancing innovation in climate monitoring, resilience-building, and low-emission development pathways. By leveraging cutting-edge tools and data-driven insights, we strengthen local and institutional capacity to scale high-integrity climate solutions—from carbon accounting systems and adaptation infrastructure to early warning technologies and community-based climate action. Our goal is to deliver measurable, equitable outcomes that align with global climate goals while meeting the real needs of people on the ground.

Why Our Work Matters
The planet is warming, 1.1°C above pre-industrial levels, driving rising seas, melting glaciers, extreme heat, and biodiversity collapse. The last decade was the hottest in recorded history, and emissions continue to rise. Climate change is no longer a future threat, it is a present crisis that is disproportionately affecting the world’s poorest and most vulnerable.
Without urgent intervention, communities will face more hunger, migration, health crises, and economic instability. But solutions exist and must be implemented now.
How we Work

At 400Forests, we take bold, systems-level action to accelerate clean energy transitions and reduce global dependence on fossil fuels. By advancing renewable energy infrastructure and access, we help communities shift toward low-carbon economies while curbing greenhouse gas emissions that drive climate instability.

We champion forest- and land-based carbon capture strategies at scale, recognizing their crucial role in drawing down atmospheric carbon. Alongside this, we equip communities with climate adaptation tools to better withstand intensifying climate shocks—from droughts to floods—ensuring resilience is built from the ground up

Our work also supports climate-smart water, food, and urban systems that prioritize sustainability, equity, and local innovation. We forge powerful partnerships across governments, businesses, and civil society to scale inclusive, science-based solutions—ensuring that climate action benefits both people and the planet.
Climate systems are built on the natural infrastructure of our planet. These ecosystems form the Earth’s original climate defense.
As emissions rise and warming accelerates, protecting and restoring this infrastructure is no longer optional, it is essential to humanity’s survival.

Climate Policy and
Governance: Towards Progress
Climate change demands far-reaching policy shifts across energy, land use, finance, and infrastructure. 400Forests partners with governments to co-develop bold, science-aligned climate policies that drive emissions reductions and protect vulnerable communities. We advise on climate adaptation strategies, carbon pricing mechanisms, nature-based solutions, and just transition frameworks.
ACT TODAY!
The environment we have is not just the space we live in, it is the intricate system of air, water, soil, climate, plants, and animals that makes life possible. Healthy ecosystems regulate the planet’s temperature, purify water, store carbon, pollinate crops, and protect us from natural disasters. But this balance is rapidly being disrupted. Add your Voice! ACT NOW!
